Summer Camps at the Melody Institute

Yes! Our August immersion camps are back!

Melody's Chinese immersion language camps are week-long hands-on experiences that expose children to Chinese culture, cuisine, language, traditions, and customs. Because we are trying to create an immersion environment, children are encouraged to speak as much Chinese as possible. 

Activities include (but are definitely not limited to):

-dance
-singing songs
-Chinese paper-cutting art
-calligraphy
-martial arts (for older students only)
-cooking
-Chinese sports
-balloon making
-skits
-story-telling
-Chinese chess or checkers

These spaces fill up fast so register now!

The dates are as follows:

Session 1	August 11-15, 2008	9AM to 12PM	5-8 (Monkey)
Session 2	August 18-22, 2008	9AM to 12PM/5PM*	8-11 (Ram)
Session 3	August 25-29, 2008	9AM to 12PM	3-5 (Panda)

*Students in this session have the option of choosing to attend either for roughly half the day (until 12AM) or the whole day (until 5PM).
